The number of Australians requiring bariatric care is increasing\, and with this additional complications and risks may occur when a bariatric patient is involved. DESCRIPTION:People who inject drugs represent approximately 90% of newly acquired hepatitis C (HCV)  infections. Clinicians in Drug and Alcohol settings play an important role in improving the health outcomes of people living with HCV and can reduce a patient’s risk of developing advanced liver disease through early diagnosis\, appropriate management of co-morbidities and treatment with new\, curative\, Direct Acting Antiviral medication (DAAs).  \nThis course is designed to strengthen the capacity of clinical staff working in drug and alcohol settings or working with people who inject drugs to effectively test for\, treat and manage HCV.
